Surely everyone has a favourite airline in mind for their trip home to Thailand. If talking about "Jet Airways", many people might wonder what country this airline belongs to, whether the aircraft are new, how much baggage weight is allowed, if flight attendants are Thai, how the food quality is, or whether personal TV screens are available. But the most important question must be 'how much is the ticket fare for a London-Bangkok round trip?" This edition i-ASiA team will clarify all your doubts through direct experience on the aircraft as WestEast Travel, together with Jet Airways, allowed i-ASiA team a chance to fly home with Jet Airways. We could also upgrade our class from economy to business with WestEast Travel's current promotion, "Book tickets during May & June with WestEast Travel for a chance to win a free upgrade to business class." We were travelling on a big and newest Boeing 777 aircraft. Economy class seats were comfortable and facilitated with personal TV touch screens while each business class seat was exclusively separated by a curved wooden board which could be slid up and down for passengers to have a talk with their fellow travellers. Personal cabinet for each individual was available above the seat, as well as personal TV touch screen, which could be moved back and forth, and adjusted as desired. The seat could be adjusted from 90? to 180? for a comfortable rest during a long trip. Flight attendants on board were enthusiastic, friendly, and took a good care of all passengers. A wide variety of foods and drinks were available. It took us about six hours travelling from London to Mumbai, India where passengers changed aircraft for the trip to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Those wishing to travel to Thailand would gather and wait for the staff to take them to another check-in counter before being taken by an air-conditioned bus to another aircraft. All these processes took around 90 minutes which was not as long as expected. The aircraft to Thailand was slightly smaller, but no less comfortable for both economy and business classes. Services provided by flight attendants on this flight were as excellent as the previous one. Warm and refreshing towels, beverages of all kinds, and various food menus were provided during the three-hour trip. The aircraft safely landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand at about 8 a.m. Thailand time. The trip back to London was scheduled in the morning, so it was very convenient to travel to *Suvarnabhumi Airport as it was free of traffic congestion. Then, we arrived at London Heathrow Airport just before dusk. This London-Bangkok round trip with India's Jet Airways is such a memorable experience. It is another interesting choice for many people when thinking about travelling back home as the ticket fare is reasonable, the first change of return date is free of charge and tickets valid for 6 months.
